Firstish season
« on: July 28, 2022, 08:30:32 PM »
I have kinda hunted bear 3 seasons. Last year and 10-12 years ago.I hunted elk and deer but only bought my bear tag just incase.  I archery hunt. I have scouted my area, know every road and most of the trails. Perseason scouting has turned up plenty of sign. I know there are a few In the area. Any specific do's or dont’s for a new near hunter. And will the Army's nonstop artillery bother the animals?

Find the food, watch your wind, make a good shot and don't get eaten. Pretty straight forward

I have seen bear not react at all to gunfire and orchard cherry bombs when they are used to hearing it.
